This group is comprised of clinicians and professionals who are associated with virtually all facets of the procurement and management of hospital supplies and equipment.We are a unique group. We share information/benchmarks and have created a communication network that is private, confidential and free from commercial influence. Predominately we share questions about healthcare products and processes and advice from our experiences. Demographically, almost every state is represented and members come from all sizes and types of health systems across the U.S. Members must not be vendors or consultants or work for a GPO. At present we are an ‘official’ organization of approximately 200 members nationwide. We have an elected Board of Directors and have been incorporated as a non-profit organization. Our Second Annual Conference was held on October 11th and 12th, 2004 in Chicago, our 2005 conference was in Seattle and our 2006 conference - Rochester, MN at the Mayo Clinic.
