AHVAP MEMBERSHIP
Regular Membership
A Regular Member shall be involved in healthcare value analysis functions and activities and employed by a hospital, health system, or organizations engaged in value analysis services such as value analysis consulting, cost reductions, quality improvements and benchmarking. Regular members cannot be involved in sales activities or promotional activities if employed outside of a hospital or health system.
- Membership dues are $150.00 USD
- Membership period: Anniversary (one year from joining)
Industry Partner Membership
Industry Partner members shall be individuals employed in the following or related healthcare fields, e.g. suppliers, device manufacturers, trade press, distributors, GPO members, Independent Manufacturer Representatives (IMR) NOT directly involved in any value analysis activities such as: value analysis consulting, cost reductions, quality improvements and benchmarking. Individuals that are compensated in sales or promotional activities will be classified as Industry Partner members.
- Membership dues are $150.00 USD
- Membership period: Anniversary (one year from joining)
Associate Membership
Associate Members shall be individuals that do not meet the criteria for Regular membership but have an interest in the healthcare value analysis specialty. Examples could include regulators, accreditation professionals, payers, and other governmental leaders.

Retiree Membership
A Retiree Member shall have met regular membership criteria and been a member in good standing the year prior to their renewal, be age 62 or greater at the time of renewal as indicated by their date of birth on the application form, no longer be employed in a value analysis position and cannot be involved in sales activities or promotional activities if employed outside of a hospital or health system. A Retiree Member will have the same benefits as a Regular Member at a discounted price.

Student Membership
Student Members shall be individuals who are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at least part-time in a health, medical, or supply chain-related field. A letter from the registrar of their school or a current course schedule must be submitted to [email protected] to confirm eligibility by the membership committee.
- Membership dues are $50.00 USD
- Membership period: Anniversary (one year from joining)
Corporate Membership Program
- Member Dues: $135.00 USD
- The organization seeking multi-membership discount must submit the request for five (5) or more qualifying members at the same time.
- The organization will receive a discount code specific for their request
- All applicants must complete their application within 15 days of the application being accepted
Membership Policies
- Memberships receive a 10 day grace period if there is an open balance that is not paid. After the 10 day grace period, a new membership must be established. Please contact [email protected] for assistance with restarting your membership.
- All membership transactions are final and are non-refundable.
- AHVAP does NOT automatically bill for membership renewals unless you indicate that sign up for this feature either during your initial membership application process or the membership renewal process. I
- AHVAP offers membership terms for 12 and 24 months.
