This two-part micro-credential combines a focused Foundations & Principles module with an Advanced Strategies & Implementation track to take practitioners from theory to measurable results. Built for busy Industry Partners, the program uses the Johns Hopkins Evidence-Based Practice framework adapted for value analysis to teach rigorous, repeatable methods for asking the right questions, appraising evidence, designing pilots, and scaling successful initiatives. Upon successful completion of both programs, attendees will receive the prestigious AHVAP Certification Center micro-credentials, which can be added to your professional business card and emails.

Module 1 — Value Analysis: Foundations & Principles

A fast-moving primer that establishes the fundamentals of value analysis, clinical evidence appraisal, stakeholder alignment, and basic change management. Participants will learn how to formulate PICO(T)-style questions for value analysis, conduct focused literature searches, and translate evidence into clear, data-driven recommendations that resonate with clinical and executive stakeholders. This program enables Industry Partners with the fundamental elements of understanding of the healthcare value analysis process.

Module 2 — Advanced Strategies & Implementation

Designed for experienced Industry Partner practitioners ready to lead high-impact projects, this module covers advanced appraisal techniques, economic modeling, pilot design and evaluation, and strategies for organization-wide scale and sustainment. Participants will work through case studies and a guided implementation project to apply concepts in real-world settings.
